Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl (青春ブタ野郎はゆめみる少女の夢を見ない, 2019) is a 90-minute anime film from CloverWorks you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Soichi Masui, it picks up where the TV series left off, following Sakuta Azusagawa — voiced by Kaito Ishikawa — as his carefully rebuilt life in Fujisawa begins to crack.

Everything was going well. Sakuta and his girlfriend Mai Sakurajima, voiced by Asami Seto, had found their footing. Then Shoko Makinohara — his very first crush — walks back in, played by Inori Minase. Shoko exists in two forms at once: a middle schooler and a grown woman. The adult version drives a wedge between Sakuta and Mai. The younger one ends up hospitalised. The two timelines pull at Sakuta from opposite ends, and whatever choice he makes will cost him something real.
