Synopsis
LOL (Laughing Out Loud) (2009) is a French coming-of-age comedy from director Lisa Azuelos that you can watch online on iFILM. Fifteen-year-old Lola earned the nickname "LOL" from her friends, but the laughing stops the day her boyfriend admits he hooked up with someone else over the summer.
Things are no calmer at home. Her mother (Sophie Marceau) is tangled in her own messy love life and barely registers that her daughter is living through first heartbreaks, friendship fallouts and secrets stashed in a diary. Christa Théret plays Lola with the exact blend of bravado and confusion anyone who survived being sixteen will recognize.
