Heaven sends the icon back to earth in the body of an imitator, but there is a catch: he must prove he has shed his womanising ways before he can earn his place in paradise.

Back among the living, the legend-turned-impostor crosses paths with Ana Claudia Talancón, Stephanie Cayo and Angélica María. The film mixes broad comic set-pieces with moments of genuine warmth, and Infante's classic songs run through the story like a second storyline.
