The year is 2455. Old Earth is a poisoned wasteland. A student research team lands to excavate ancient relics and finds two cryogenically frozen bodies in a ruined facility. One of them is Jason Voorhees. He thaws out on their spacecraft. The security squad lasts about as long as you'd expect.

Kane Hodder, who played Jason across four consecutive films, returns here in the role. Director David Cronenberg appears in a brief cameo. James Isaac shoots the whole thing with a straight face while clearly winking at the audience — the film knows it's absurd and leans into it.
