Evil Dead II

Evil Dead II (1987) is Sam Raimi's horror-comedy sequel from Renaissance Pictures — made for $3.5 million and available to watch online on iFILM. Bruce Campbell returns as Ash, back in the same cabin, facing the same darkness, this time with a chainsaw where his hand used to be.

A tape recording of passages from the Necronomicon — the Book of the Dead — unleashes the evil again. Ash's girlfriend is taken over immediately. Then Ash himself starts to crack. His own hand turns against him. He deals with it. Professor Knowby's daughter Annie (Sarah Berry) arrives with a small group, bringing fresh pages of the book and adding more bodies to a night that refuses to end.
