It's Kind of a Funny Story

It's Kind of a Funny Story (2010) is the dramedy from Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Sixteen-year-old Craig checks himself into a psychiatric ward and ends up stuck there for five days.

The teen wing is closed for repairs, so they place him with the adults. There he meets Bobby (Zach Galifianakis), a charming patient who keeps coaching Craig on life while quietly leaning on the kid to stay afloat himself. Keir Gilchrist plays a boy crushed by school, his parents' expectations and a hopeless crush; Emma Roberts is Noelle, a sharp-tongued girl his age with scars on her cheek. Viola Davis plays the doctor who reads all of them in a glance. In one short week Craig learns more than the whole year gave him.
