Synopsis
Tale of the Nine Tailed (2020) is a Korean fantasy series you can watch online on iFILM. Directors Kang Shin-hyo and Jo Nam-hyun follow Lee Yeon (Lee Dong-wook), a fox deity who once guarded the Baekdu mountain range and now works as a go-between for the living world and the afterlife. He deals with spirits that slip through the cracks. He also carries centuries of longing for a woman he lost long ago.
TV producer Nam Ji-ah (Jo Bo-ah) runs straight into his world while chasing a story no sane person would touch. She suspects her own past holds answers — and Lee Yeon clearly knows more than he lets on. His half-brother Lee Rang (Kim Bum) is working a different angle entirely: charming humans with promises of granted wishes, then collecting on those debts in the worst ways imaginable.
