Dream High (Seasons 1–2)

Dream High (드림하이, 2011) is a Korean drama series you can watch online on iFILM, set inside Kirin Art High School where six students chase careers in the Korean music industry. Directed by Lee Eun-pok, Mo Wan-il and Kim Seong-yoon, the sixteen-episode run packs in rivalry, first love and the hard arithmetic of talent versus ambition.

Song Sam-dong (Kim Soo-hyun) is a rural kid with zero stage plans until he follows Ko Hye-mi (Bae Suzy) through the school gates. Hye-mi performs like she owns the room but carries a weight she rarely shows anyone. Around them: the effortlessly gifted Jin-guk (Ok Taecyeon), exchange student Jason (Jang Wooyoung), and IU as the scrappy underdog who keeps proving the rankings wrong.

Produced by KeyEast and JYP Entertainment — with JYP himself serving as music director — the show drew its cast straight from the K-pop world. Suzy was weeks into her Miss A debut, IU already had a solo career, Taecyeon and Wooyoung were deep into 2PM.
