Leslie Nielsen plays Lieutenant Frank Drebin of the LAPD — a walking disaster who destroys evidence, falls for Jane Spencer (Priscilla Presley), and accidentally uncovers a plot to assassinate Queen Elizabeth II. Ricardo Montalban plays the villain. George Kennedy is his long-suffering boss. Nielsen delivers every line of nonsense with the straight face of a man reading a terms-of-service agreement.
