Synopsis
Cocaine Bear (2023) is a bloody crime comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Elizabeth Banks directed it, and the spark was an actual oddity: back in 1985, a smuggler dumped a load of cocaine over the Georgia woods, and a black bear got into some of the packages.
From there the writers ran wild. Stuffed with the powder, a roughly 500-pound animal turns frenzied and starts tearing through a national park. As luck would have it, the forest fills with all the wrong people: a mother chasing her truant daughter, two dim dealers hunting their lost stash, a worn-out cop and a pack of teenagers. Their paths collide in one spot, and the bear couldn't care less who's standing there.
The cast brings together Keri Russell, Alden Ehrenreich, O'Shea Jackson Jr. and Margo Martindale. For Ray Liotta, this was one of his final roles.
