Die Hard

Die Hard (1988) is John McTiernan's action thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Bruce Willis plays NYPD detective John McClane, who flies to Los Angeles on Christmas Eve to patch things up with his wife — and finds himself trapped inside a skyscraper taken over by armed men.

Directed by McTiernan on a $28 million budget, the film earned $140 million at the box office and rewrote what an action movie could be — most of the stunts were practical, shot on an actual high-rise under construction in Century City.
