Synopsis
Deep Red (Profondo rosso, 1975) — watch online the Italian giallo thriller directed by Dario Argento, widely regarded as his sharpest work. Rome at night. British jazz pianist Marcus witnesses the brutal killing of his psychic neighbor from across the street — and instead of stepping back, steps closer.
Something was wrong inside the apartment. A painting, a detail, something Marcus saw and then stopped seeing. That gap in his own memory is what turns him from a bystander into a target. David Hemmings plays the investigation as a man arguing with his own recollection. Daria Nicolodi is the reporter who attaches herself to the case with more nerve than caution. The score was composed by Goblin — a synthesizer-driven soundtrack that pushes into scenes like a second camera.
Argento shot every murder sequence as its own set piece, precise and deliberate. Stream Deep Red (1975) in full on iFILM.
