Synopsis

The Last of the Mohicans (1992) is Michael Mann's action epic you can watch online on iFILM. North America, summer 1757: British and French armies are tearing the continent apart, and every forest trail runs through contested ground. Hawkeye — a white frontiersman raised among the Mohican — stays out of other people's wars, until two women need an escort through the worst of it.

Daniel Day-Lewis brings a physical stillness to Hawkeye that most action heroes don't have. Madeleine Stowe plays Cora, whose journey from a British fort to the open wilderness becomes the film's emotional spine. Wes Studi as the Huron warrior Magua and Russell Means as Chingachgook give the conflict weight beyond the two colonial powers shooting at each other. Directed by Mann from Morgan Creek Entertainment, 112 minutes that move like a hunter — quiet, then sudden.

Based on James Fenimore Cooper's 1826 novel, Mann stripped the story down to muscle: no speechifying, just terrain, weather, and people making hard choices under fire. Stream The Last of the Mohicans (1992) in full online on iFILM.
