The Fall

The Fall (2006) is a fantasy drama directed by Tarsem Singh that you can watch online on iFILM. Lee Pace plays Roy, a stuntman bedridden in a 1920s Los Angeles hospital after a bridge stunt goes badly wrong. He begins telling a story to Alexandria, a five-year-old girl in the next ward — a girl with a broken arm and an enormous imagination, played by Catinca Untaru.

The story Roy spins stars five mythic heroes: the Black Bandit, a runaway slave, an Indian mystic, an Italian revolutionary, and a naturalist who looks suspiciously like Charles Darwin. Alexandria fills in the gaps with her own visions, and the tale takes on a life neither of them fully controls. Then Roy learns his girlfriend has left him. The story turns dark in a hurry.
