Synopsis
Rocky V (1990) is a drama you can watch online on iFILM. Sylvester Stallone returns as Rocky Balboa, who comes back from the USSR with brain damage from the Drago fight — and discovers a crooked accountant has wiped out everything he earned. The mansion is gone. The family moves back to the old Philadelphia neighborhood. Doctors say no more fighting.
Rocky pours his energy into training a hungry young prospect, Tommy Gunn, played by real-life heavyweight Tommy Morrison. The mentorship turns sour fast: money and a slick promoter named Duke peel Tommy away, and Rocky is left with his son Robert Jr. — played by Sage Stallone, Sylvester's actual son — and the ghost of trainer Mickey (Burgess Meredith, in flashbacks). Director John G. Avildsen, who helmed the original 1976 Rocky and won an Oscar for it, returned specifically for this chapter. The climax trades the boxing ring for a street brawl.
