Skyline (2010) is an American sci-fi thriller directed by brothers Colin and Greg Strause, available to watch online on iFILM. The cast includes Eric Balfour and Donald Faison.

Los Angeles. A group of friends wakes in a high-rise penthouse to blinding lights hovering over the city. Anyone who looks at the light gets pulled upward into alien craft. Within hours the streets below are being swept clean of human life. The survivors barricade themselves inside and try to work out whether they can outlast machines that are harvesting people by the thousands.

The Strause brothers built their careers in visual effects, and it shows — the alien ships and atmospheric siege sequences punch well above the film's reported $10 million budget. The story is deliberately stripped down, betting everything on spectacle and dread.
