Pig

Pig (2021) is a drama directed by Michael Sarnoski that you can watch online on iFILM. Nicolas Cage plays Rob, a former chef living off the grid in the Oregon wilderness. He forages for truffles with a trained pig and trades them to Amir (Alex Wolff), a young Portland dealer who drives out once a week. Then someone beats Rob unconscious and takes the animal.

To find his pig, Rob has to go back to Portland — the city he deliberately left behind. The trail runs through private supper clubs, old grudges, and faces from a past life Rob built a forest over. Amir is pulled along, quickly realizing the quiet man in the woods used to matter to a lot of people. The film moves slowly on purpose. Every scene strips one more layer off a man who gave up on caring and then found something worth caring about.
