

Synopsis
Judas and the Black Messiah (2021) — watch online on iFILM, director Shaka King's account of one of the FBI's most aggressive domestic operations. Chicago, late 1960s. Small-time criminal Bill O'Neal gets caught using a fake federal badge and takes a deal: go inside the Illinois Black Panther Party chapter and report everything back to Agent Roy Mitchell and J. Edgar Hoover.
Lakeith Stanfield plays O'Neal, caught between survival instinct and the slow realization of what he's dismantling. Daniel Kaluuya won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of chairman Fred Hampton — a 21-year-old organizer who was pulling together rival gangs, Latino groups, and poor white workers into what he called the Rainbow Coalition. Dominique Fishback plays Deborah Johnson, Hampton's partner, who carries the weight of what's coming.
