Winifred (Midler) leads the trio with theatrical menace; Sarah (Parker) is dangerously scattered; Mary (Najimy) sniffs out children like a bloodhound. Max, his little sister Dani (Thora Birch), their friend Allison, and a centuries-old black cat have until sunrise to undo what Max started.
