Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent) has been placed with foster parents Joanne and Phil Simpson — played by Jenny Agutter and Gerrit Graham — while his mother is held for psychiatric evaluation. He tells them about Chucky. They do not believe him. Brad Dourif returns to voice the doll as it closes in on Andy and the teenager Kyle (Christine Elise) who finds herself caught in the middle.
