Synopsis
Strangers from Hell (타인은 지옥이다, 2019) is a South Korean psychological thriller series directed by Lee Chang-hee — watch it online on iFILM. Yoon Jong-woo moves from the countryside to Seoul for a new office job. Budget constraints land him in a cramped shared-bathroom boarding house, a room barely larger than a closet with a narrow window that lets in almost no light.
His neighbors make the walls feel even closer. One is a leering creep, another giggles at nothing, the landlady hovers constantly, and a silent man at the end of the hall watches everyone with unblinking patience. The only resident who seems remotely grounded sleeps with a knife and insists the others are planning to kill him. Yoon starts wondering whether that is the sanest thing he has heard since moving in. Im Si-wan and Lee Dong-wook lead the cast.
Adapted from a webtoon of the same name, the series runs six tight episodes and builds its dread through compression — shared walls, enforced proximity, no room to breathe.
