Synopsis

The Fugitive (1993) is a Warner Bros. action thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Dr. Richard Kimble, a Chicago surgeon played by Harrison Ford, is convicted of his wife's murder in a single devastating night. He didn't do it. Director Andrew Davis wastes no time — the escape is on within the first reel and the pace never lets up across 130 minutes.

A prison bus collides with a freight train, and Kimble walks out of the wreckage into the woods. That's when U.S. Marshal Samuel Gerard, played by Tommy Lee Jones in the role that earned him the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, takes over the chase. Gerard is relentless, sharp, and not particularly interested in the difference between guilty and innocent. While he closes in, Kimble works backward through his own life — tracking a one-armed man, probing a drug trial at his hospital, and looking very hard at his colleague Charles Nichols (Jeroen Krabbé).

Made for $44 million and grossing over $353 million worldwide, the film held the summer of 1993. The Ford–Jones duel still delivers decades later. Watch The Fugitive (1993) online in high quality on iFILM.
