Young London solicitor Jonathan Harker travels to Transylvania to close a property deal for a reclusive nobleman. The estate is a cage. The count is centuries old and survives on the blood of others. When he spots a photograph of Harker's fiancée Mina — a face he recognises from another life — he leaves Transylvania behind and heads for England. Professor Van Helsing, played by Anthony Hopkins, assembles a small group to stop him. Monica Bellucci appears as Dracula's bride; Tom Waits plays the unhinged Renfield.
