Synopsis

Star Trek: Insurrection (1998) is a science-fiction adventure you can watch online on iFILM — the ninth feature in the saga and the third to star the Next Generation crew, this time directed by Jonathan Frakes, who also plays Commander Riker.

On a peaceful world live the six hundred Ba'ku, whose land keeps them forever young. When Starfleet conspires with the Son'a to secretly relocate the inhabitants and seize that fountain of youth, Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart) refuses to play along and turns on his own command. Data, Worf, Troi, Geordi and Crusher fall in beside him, while F. Murray Abraham brings a stretched, scarred menace as the villain.

In tone this is the lightest, most intimate of the TNG films — closer to an extended episode than a blockbuster, leaning on Prime Directive ethics and easy banter between old friends. It's aimed squarely at longtime TNG fans and anyone working through the movies in order. Stream Star Trek: Insurrection (1998) online on iFILM.
