Synopsis
Garfield (2004) — watch online this live-action family comedy from 20th Century Fox and Davis Entertainment. Director Peter Hewitt brought Jim Davis's iconic strip cat to the screen, with Bill Murray voicing the orange tabby and Breckin Meyer playing his hapless owner Jon.
Garfield's days run on a fixed loop: eat, sleep, repeat. That rhythm breaks hard when Jon brings home a hyperactive puppy named Odie to impress his vet and old crush Liz, played by Jennifer Love Hewitt. Garfield schemes to get rid of the dog, accidentally lets him loose, and then watches as scheming TV host Happy Chapman (Stephen Tobolowsky) snatches Odie for his own show. Getting him back means leaving the couch — possibly for the first time in years. The film blends CGI animation for Garfield with live-action sets, giving Murray's deadpan delivery plenty of room to work.
Made on a $50 million budget, the film grossed around $200 million worldwide and launched a sequel. Stream Garfield online on iFILM.
