Then come the quiet calls from the rival camp, the leaks, other people's secrets, and an affair that could sink everything. Clooney himself plays the governor, with Philip Seymour Hoffman and Paul Giamatti as two hardened campaign managers, plus Evan Rachel Wood and Marisa Tomei.
