Synopsis
Climax (2018) is Gaspar Noé's dance-horror film you can watch online on iFILM. Shot in France over fifteen days with a largely non-professional cast of real dancers, the 95-minute film unfolds almost in real time inside a single building on a winter night.
A French dance troupe gathers at a remote school for three days of rehearsal. The session goes well. Then someone passes around a bowl of sangria that turns out to be laced. Sofia Boutella leads the ensemble as the group's anchor, but once the substance kicks in, the collective slowly comes apart — jealousy, terror, rage, and something unhinged bleeding into the choreography. Gaspar Noé keeps the camera moving through the corridors without cuts, stretching each sequence until the discomfort becomes physical.
The film screened at Cannes 2018 and split audiences cleanly: some walked out, others were riveted. There is no traditional screenplay — Noé built the film around improvised performance and a pounding electronic soundtrack. Watch Climax (2018) online on iFILM.
