The doctor, Lena Kendricks (Monica Bellucci), refuses to go without the seventy refugees sheltering in the village. Waters breaks protocol. Eight soldiers move through dense jungle with government troops closing in, carrying civilians who can barely walk. Every decision narrows to the same question: mission or conscience.
