The Menu

The Menu (2022) is a satirical horror laced with black comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Mark Mylod directs, with Anya Taylor-Joy, Ralph Fiennes and Nicholas Hoult heading the cast.

A handful of wealthy diners board a boat to a remote island, where celebrated chef Julian Slowik runs an exclusive restaurant called Hawthorne. A seat at the tasting menu costs as much as a used car, and every course arrives with a lecture on what each ingredient is supposed to mean. Among the guests are Tyler, a smug foodie who worships the chef, and his date Margot, who clearly doesn't belong and senses early on that something is badly off. Course by course, the kitchen staff start exposing the sins of everyone at the tables, and there is no boat back.

Fiennes plays the chef like an icy preacher, and Taylor-Joy is the only guest who pushes back.
