Synopsis
The Hot Chick (2002) is a fantasy comedy from Happy Madison Productions and Touchstone Pictures that you can watch online on iFILM. Director Tom Brady pits the most popular — and most insufferable — girl in school against the worst possible situation: she wakes up inside the body of Clive, a sleazy small-time crook played by Rob Schneider, after a cursed pair of ancient earrings changes hands at a gas station.
Rachel McAdams, in an early film role, plays Jessica Spencer in her original form. Anna Faris is April, the best friend who has to convince herself that the gross-looking guy showing up at school really is her friend. Matthew Lawrence plays the boyfriend who suddenly finds himself very confused. The film earns its laughs by putting someone who took her looks for granted into a body nobody notices — and making her figure out what that means. Prom is in two weeks.
