Synopsis
Dinosaur (2000) is a Walt Disney Pictures animated adventure you can watch online on iFILM. Directors Ralph Zondag and Eric Leighton used an unusual technique for its time: fully computer-generated dinosaurs were composited over footage of real locations — jungles, deserts, and rock formations shot on location. The production cost $127.5 million. Voice cast includes D.B. Sweeney, Alfre Woodard, Ossie Davis, and a young Hayden Panettiere.
Iguanodon Aladar hatches among a family of lemurs and grows up knowing nothing of his own kind. A meteor shower forces them all to flee and join a massive herd of dinosaurs trudging toward the Nesting Grounds. The herd's leader Kron is ruthless — slow animals get left to die. Aladar keeps pulling the old and weak along. That puts the two of them on a collision course.
The film earned over $354 million worldwide. Its blend of photorealistic backgrounds and animated creatures gives it a look unlike most family films from that era. Stream Dinosaur (2000) in good quality on iFILM.
