Synopsis

Doug Harris has told his fiancée Gretchen he has plenty of close friends. He has none. Two weeks before the wedding he finds Jimmy Callahan, the quietly brilliant operator behind Best Man Inc. — a company that supplies groomsmen, delivers toasts, and convincingly pretends to have known you for years. Jimmy assembles a crew of seven strangers and begins drilling them on the cover story. Kaley Cuoco plays the unsuspecting bride who believes all of it.
Kevin Hart runs the comic engine here — fast-talking, resourceful, and genuinely funny — while Gad plays the straight man whose embarrassing loneliness slowly becomes the film's real subject. What starts as an escalating con spins into something warmer: a bromance that neither man saw coming. Clor is Leatham, Cloris Leachman and Ken Howard pop up in the supporting cast.
