Synopsis
Serial (Bad) Weddings (Qu'est-ce qu'on a fait au Bon Dieu?, 2014) is a French comedy from director Philippe de Chauveron that you can watch online on iFILM. The conservative Catholic Verneuil couple dreamed of grand weddings for their four daughters, but the sons-in-law turned out to be nothing like what the parents imagined.
Claude Verneuil (Christian Clavier) and his wife do their honest best to seem open-minded. One daughter married an Arab man, another a Jewish one, a third a Chinese one, and every family dinner becomes careful diplomacy where old prejudices keep slipping out. Their last hope is the youngest daughter. Then she announces she's marrying an actor from the Ivory Coast. From there, even the sons-in-law find reasons to clash with each other.
