The Foreigner

Quan runs a quiet Chinese restaurant in London. When his teenage daughter is killed by a bomb claimed by a breakaway faction of the IRA, the police stall and the politicians hedge. So the grieving father — a man whose buried wartime past comes roaring back — starts hunting the killers himself. His target is government official Liam Hennessy (Brosnan), a former militant who clearly knows more than he admits. From there it turns into a tense game of cat and mouse: homemade explosives, surveillance, pressure squeezing both men.
