Synopsis
Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984) is a slasher film directed by Joseph Zito — watch online on iFILM. The fourth entry in the Paramount franchise picks up where Part III left off: Jason is supposed to be dead, and he very much is not.
His body is wheeled into a morgue and that's where any semblance of closure ends. Jason makes it back to Crystal Lake, where the Jarvis family lives next door to a cabin full of teenagers. Twelve-year-old Corey Feldman plays Tommy Jarvis — a kid obsessed with horror masks who turns out to have a particular talent for facing the real thing. Crispin Glover is among the doomed group next door.
Director Joseph Zito and makeup effects artist Tom Savini — who returned specifically to design the climax — gave the film a harder edge than earlier installments.
