Synopsis

They are tasked with escorting a young woman accused of witchcraft to a distant abbey, where monks will perform a ritual said to halt the pestilence. A small band hauls the prisoner in an iron cage through forests, broken bridges, and infected villages. The longer the road runs, the harder it gets to tell whether she is a frightened victim of slander or something genuinely dangerous. Alongside Cage stand Ron Perlman as the loyal Felson and Claire Foy as the mysterious captive.
