Man on Fire (2004) — watch online on iFILM — is Tony Scott's punishing action thriller from 20th Century Fox and New Regency Pictures, starring Denzel Washington as John Creasy, a burned-out ex-CIA operative dropped into Mexico City's kidnapping epidemic.

Creasy takes the job of guarding nine-year-old Pita Ramos, the daughter of a businessman played by Marc Anthony, purely for the paycheck. The girl won't leave him alone. She talks through his silences, drags him to swim practice, and somehow gets past every wall he's built. Then she's taken. And Creasy stops being a bodyguard — he becomes something far colder. Dakota Fanning, Christopher Walken as Creasy's old colleague Rayburn, and Mickey Rourke round out a cast that keeps the film grounded even as the violence escalates.
