Getting it means working with Gekko — who happens to be the estranged father of Jake's fiancée Winnie, played by Carey Mulligan. Each man is using the other. Both know it. Josh Brolin plays the cold-blooded financier at the center of it all, the one Gekko has a score to settle with.
