Upload (2020) is an Amazon Prime sci-fi comedy you can watch online on iFILM, created by Greg Daniels of The Office and Parks and Recreation. In 2033, the recently deceased can be digitally uploaded into virtual afterlife resorts — if they can afford the subscription. When LA coder Nathan dies in a self-driving car accident, his controlling girlfriend uploads him into the premium Lakeview facility.

Nathan (Robbie Amell) quickly discovers that the digital afterlife runs on microtransactions: bandwidth is billed, features cost extra, and the premium tier gets actual clouds. His customer-service "Angel" Nora (Andy Allo) is very much alive in Brooklyn, and as their chats stretch longer than job requirements demand, Nathan starts wondering whether his crash was really an accident.

The show lands its best jokes in the fine print of death-as-subscription — the kind of satirical world-building Daniels does well. It's lighter than The Good Place and more interested in corporate absurdity than existential questions. Stream all seasons of Upload online on iFILM.
