In the Tall Grass (2019) — watch online on iFILM this Canadian-American horror from director Vincenzo Natali, adapted from the novella by Stephen King and Joe Hill. Pregnant Becky and her brother Cal hear a child screaming from inside a roadside field and step in to help. They do not step back out.

The grass rearranges itself. Paths loop back, distances stretch without reason, and a moss-covered rock at the field's center does something to every person who touches it. Patrick Wilson plays Ross, a farmer who entered the field long before Cal and Becky — and greets them with unsettling calm. King and Hill keep the geography simple and the dread relentless.
